That's exactly why I didn't pull mine. The rear has a few dents in the corners where it saved body damage from boulders.

I'm not a fan of big rocks, I've had too much serious damage in the past - I stick mostly to just fire trails, mud, small rocks, climbs, etc. I don't plan on keeping it no bumper forever - just a temporary fix until I feel like dropping the $1000+ on rear with carrier.
