Default new tires

went from this: Yokohama geolander mt's 35x12.5x15

to this: super swamper tsl radials 36x12.5x15

the tsl's are just crazy in the mud.....i tested them out as soon as i got home. they do however sound like a Cessna coming in for a landing.

You still using the D30 on there? What have you done, if anything, to beef it up?

Looks great! Have you tried flexing to see if it rubs anywhere yet?

yep still using the d30. nothing done to it so far, i will however be installing some "c" gussets and maybe a axle truss. other than that i will run it till it breaks.

it did rub on the rubi sliders but i pushed the axle back about a half inch or so. im still debating on whether to lift it more or trim the rubi sliders.

just so you guys know im running about 5" up front and 4"ish in the rear. im sure the springs are sagging a bit with all the weight of the front bumper and winch and the rear tire.

well thats a tough question....they are loud. lets put it this way, on my way home from the 4wheel parts, when i was on the highway and was riding next to a motorcycle. i thought the noise was from the motorcycle....it wasnt, it was me

it doesnt bother me but it is loud. the ride however is not a whole lot different from the previous tires. its a little rough overall.....maybe i should say a bit lumpy of a ride. it still handles fine though just be prepared to use your windshield wipers a lot more. these tires throw water, mud and rocks all over the place.

i cant wait to air these things down and try'em on the rocks

Great choice. I ran 33" TSL radials on my TJ and they were awesome even without lockers. It was also my daily driver at the time when I lived in Chicago.
