New TF 4" lift and tires installed
Well after months (years maybe?) of reading the forum and several long evenings I my Jeep finally grew up and I finally stopped being lazy and posted pictures. I finished the lift last weekend and love it. It drives great and has gotten a ton of compliments on the road, gas station, Lowes and more.

Glad I can finally post my before and after pictures and a huge thanks to help from the forum (and the awesome TF 4" lift writeup on project-jk), Teraflex and Dave at Northridge for answering the million questions I had. It was totally worth doing it all myself (my wife helped with the alignment at the end), learned a ton about the Jeep and would recommend everyone install their own lift. Not hard if you take your time.

Hey guys, thanks for the compliments. After months of research it turned out exactly how I had hoped it would.
The wheels are MB72s, 17x8.5, 4.5" backspacing. They have a center cap but I like the more basic look without them. I went with 17s so I could fit the Teraflex brake upgrade in the future.
The tires are GY Duratracs, 315/70R17. I liked a lot of the mud tires such as the Nittos, Toyos and the GY MTRS, but being in MI and doing a lot of driving on snow covered roads for skiing, hunting, etc. 4-5 months out of the year these were a good mix. They are a lot like a mud/all-terrain hybrid.
