Default New Rough Country Lift

This is my 2015 JK Sahara. Just installed a Rough Country Stage 2 3.5" lift with dual steering stabilizer and a Rubicon Express Track Bar. Also 20" KD Rockstar 2's with 35" X 12.5" X 20" Dick Cepek Fun Country Tires. Love the look and the height but need to address the "wobble" that came with it. Guess I need to address the control arms as well to get the ride I want. Anyway. This is my second jeep. The first was a YJ and I loved it!

You are asking about the wobble, the lift, the components? Or just showing off your lift and throwing it in the wrong forum...

Not sure what you mean exactly by wobble but heres a few things to check. I had the kit on my old Jeep and hope this helps a little.

Make sure trackbar is torqued to 125ft lbs and Tires are torqued to 95ft lbs
If your steering feels flighty first thing you want to do is loosen all control arm bolts and re-torque them with Jeep on the ground (75ft lb for uppers, 125ft lb for lowers) if you didnt do that when you installed the kit
If your getting a lot of steering wheel movement when hitting a bump, make sure you didn't install the drop pitman arm and trackbar bracket with the adj trackbar, should be only the adj trackbar

I was just showing it off and I am new to the forum. Wasn't looking for any specific advice but I always welcome it.

I have a 14 jku, 2.5 rough country BB and 35 12.5 17 nitto trail graps. I had awful wobble when I first installed my kit and blamed it on bad balancing until I remembered that I didn't remove the factory disc brake retaining clips before putting my new wheels on. They are small steel clips that slide over the wheel lugs to keep the rotors from falling off during assembly. They cause after market wheels to not mount flush on the rotor causing awful wobble and vibration. I ripped them off and voila...rides great now.

Just a thought...

Is this the kit ?

If this is the one read the part in the instruction regarding the Front Track Bar Rod Bracket Step 23

Hope that helps

Unfortunately you are going to run into this sometimes in the jeep forum no what you post, respond, or ask...

Nice jeep and also there is a couple great threads about the RC 3.5 lift - i found them a while back through google and "rough county 3.5"" and jk forum
