Default New to me Gobi rack

So I just picked up my gobi stealth recon rack from a forum member this morning and I love it drove 5 hours... hour install... and 5 hours back and it was well worth it.

Now my jk is starting to look like I want since I'm going for the expedition look being that I'm more into the long camping trips deep in the woods and trails.

Only complaint is now My soft top flaps and hits the cage and makes a lot of noise I dont know maybe I just need to adjust the wind deflector.

Oh yeah I forgot I lost 3 mpg's also a downfall but I still need to regear

Looks good. I have been debating between a gobi or a trail for camping. With 3 mpg loss I am thinking trailer, which is disappointing because those racks look great.

Enjoy it

well for some reason the speed limit on I-49 in louisianna is 75 to trying to keep up with the traffic on 33's and stock gears and the added weight of the rack was just tough but when the limit slowed down and i was going 65 to 70 it went back up to 14 mpg which only gave me about 1 to 1.5 gallon loss I recommend it and love it I'm pretty sure once I regear it will get better

I have only used mine with my hardtop, but some members posted using pool noodles on the cross bar sections of the rack to stop the flapping with the softtop.

This worked for me. I use a "monster" noodle rather than the gear shape. YMMV.
