Default New Jeep

Hey I just bought a new 2012 Unlimited Rubicon I have about 4k left for extras. I want to replace the bumpers, add on a winch, step bars, and some waterproof seat covers. I have never owned a jeep before so I'm looking for any advice...

Congrats!

Wow, get two of everything, don't worry I'll pay for the shipping from you to me... haha just kidding.

I have been putting lots of wishful thinking into where I want to go and I say smitty stinger up front, smitty xrc w/ carrier on back (or you could save $400 and get the E-autogrilles clone on eBay, which supposedly is very very close to same quality for half price), Smitty xrc8 or xrc10 winch, and for step bars, I don't want to assume one way or another if you prefer using a rocker as your step. When you say step bar I think something that hangs down lower than a rocker guard.

Hope this helps.

Congrats and welcome. I'd go with a lift and tires. Then buy a welder, plasma cutter, chop saw, and a 4" grinder. Learn and build the rest of the stuff. It makes it fun and custom to your liking! If you have the spare time of course........

Congrats on your new Jeep! My advice is to drive it around stock for a little bit, read as much as you can, and you'll figure out yourself what you should do. You have time to mod, don't rush!

How do I find Joe? Just type Joe in the search box or what?
