New Fully Built JKU at Dealer. 100k Sticker Price
#12
That's funny.... I got a call from another dealer up there to do builds on JKs and then sell em built...Not dealer but high end cars...Not my cup of tea not for what they pay to build then percentage of sale....
Yes building them for a lot cheaper then mark em up, if it has a hemi swap, atlas, 60s, floater rear axles and a ton of other stuff but yeah that's a lot....They will sell it OC has got ballers with $$$$$ and a no hassle build ready to roll.....
Markup is they are betting on mall crawler and if that goes wrong they have a cushion to cover that D44 up front should it get wheeled hard and rental car for buyer....

100k with no Hemi you kidding!!! I will say of all the 100k jeeps at dealers that have been posted on this forum, this is by far the nicest. Its a functionally/beautifully build wrangler, whoever the parts manager there is is clearly a jeeper, or did his re-search as to what the majority of people are looking for. But 100k for any wrangler without a hemi us absurd, you add a hemi install to that sticker price, even a hemi install at what the normal person would have to pay (say 20-25k) that still leaves you with another 25 thousand in parts and labor (which a dealership probably isn't paying, or is getting at a huge discount) for the rest of the jeep. That sticker price is insanity

All things considered ....it's not the worst price. Sure, they've packed in some profit but there's over 30k in parts on this build. Labor isn't free, no matter where you get it. I'd say they've got 80k+ tied up in this project.
