New Decals for the JK
Since my LJ Rubi was red, I ordered a Red Adventure trailer to tow behind it. Since then, I've moved on to a JK. Unfortunately for me, I couldn't find a red JK anywhere that met the search criteria. What I did find was a black one.
What that meant to me (since I am just that kind of guy....and a bit anal when it comes to my Jeep and related gear) is that I needed to paint the trailer black to match the Jeep. Well, the more I thought about that it really wasn't the best idea since the entire trailer is powder coated and I really can't improved on that.
What I needed to do was somehow tie the black JK into the red Chaser. I played around a bit with digital photography with changing this or that. What I came across was just changing the RUBICON and WRANGLER decals to red.
This pic is what I came up with just playing on the computer. It was enough for me to just go ahead and do it.
THE COMPUTER MODIFIED RIG:
THE COMPLETED RIG WITH NEW DECALS (took all of about 30 minutes from start to finish (to include removal of the original decals):
Mopar only makes them in silver or black so no red ones. I searched around and even went to a sign place to research having new ones made up. Local stuff was just too damn expensive. I searched different forums and came up with a few different options and even came across some eBay stuff.
Nothing really caught my eye until I came across www.pixeldecals.com. It was a total of $29 for the new decals - ALL 4 OF THEM. Perfect match to OEM and not a bad price. Hell, even if they aren't as good as OEM for $29 who cares.
I emailed a few times back and forth to the owner, Don, and I got that comfortable feeling I was looking for. He does this on the side so I was expecting a couple of weeks before they showed up. Less than a week they were here.
So.....if you want to replace your decals, or even put your own words instead of "RUBICON", Don can do it. No reservations at all with dealing with him again in the future.

Sweet!
That looks Incredible! Really looks good with the trailer as well. Thanks for the heads up on pixeldecals.com. I'll definately be spending some time there and order up some stickers for me and a few guys at work!

I can also vouch for pixeldecals.com. I have ordered a few decals from them over the past year and have always been very pleased with the outcome.
The red looks a heck of a lot better than i thought it would. It really ties the trailer in nicely.

I have delt with him before and if anyone is wanting custom decals then you must go with Don. Great service.
By the way damn good looking Jeep and great stickers as well.
