Default MY10 JK Sahara Unlimited expedition built - For Borneo challenge 2011

I had some time spare this afternoon so thought to put my JK modifications in pictures - From stock to ready for Borneo Expedition 2011

New 2010 JK Sahara Unlimited - Oct 2010

Ready for the Borneo Expedition - 28th - 4th of June 2011

First mod was the AEV heat reduction hood + Snorkel (always wanted one)

Then I put the hood latch on so I was able to adjust my AEV hood (prevent it from bouncing)

Next was the K&N air indiction kit + jet stage two chip

Enjoying my mods open top on the beach

Next was the Borla dual tip catback exhaust...nice

Again another wee drive on the beach (Brunei)

Ordered my ARB deluxe fr/rr bumpers ages ago, finally they were installed

Also got my ARB rocksliders installed, slightly tricky as you need to drill them into the chassis

Decided to go for the TF 2.5" coil lift, great choice

Installed my WARN 9.0i Rc synthetic rope winch

A proper switch so I can switch off the power to the winch

Next is WARN HID

Installed 1.5" spidertrax spacers to balance my tires in the arches

Quick trip to Labi road to test my jeep

Finally got my 16" procom wheels and 305x70xR16 Yokohama Geolander tyres

Got my adjustable control arms installed (fr/rr upper & lower)

any takers ?

Installed my heavy duty TF front trackbar

Lift and control arms from the back

Wanted to monitor my engine parameters hence installed Aeroforce interceptor

I needed the best Roofrack for my ARB awning and Series III tent hence installed a MBRP roofrack

Installed my ARB awning + mosquito netting (brilliant)

Needed a fridge to store my beers :-)

Custom made dual fuel tanks on the gate (moving my spare tire to the roof)

Some more posing

Finished my phase I mod's so far......

Best regards,

Mark

Great looking rig. Inspiring! Thanks for the pics. Saw some of your trip pics on the expedition thread. Looks like quite the adventure.

Great looking Rig. I especially love the ARB Bumper. That's what I'm planning to get when the Funds fill back up.

Credit card companies must love you....that COULDN'T have been cheap.
Incredible rig though..I hope to achieve roughly the same...after the years it'll take me to accumulate all that stuff lol.
I'm really digging those bumpers too. Nice job man!

Hi Guys, thanks for the comments, indeed my CC company loves me or is it Quadratec.....think I am on order number 42 as we speak.....or it is customs as I need to pay 20% import duty over anything remotely to do with cars

Phase II will be 4" lift, 35" tires, ARB fr/rr lockers, need new shocks as well...bo bo bo just got ELKA's but for a 2.5" lift and I am thinking about RIPP. Again if i don't spend it wifie does
