Default My red 2 door JK overhaul project!

Well today is the big day!

The last of the parts arrived yesterday (Tuesday) and that would be the pair of Dynatrac Axles

The complete build includes taking out my factory Dana 30 and Dana 44 with 3:21 gears, taking off my factory drive shafts, factory rims and my Goodyear Duratrac 285/17's

The replacement parts are Dynatrac pro rock d44 and Dynatrac d60 with ARB lockers and 5:13 gears, new drive shafts, ARB compressor and pro comp series 98 flat black 17" rims with 4.25 back spacing, Goodyear MTR/k's 37x12.5x17's, and two custom drive shafts, plus I have to swap out my 3 month old front Ace bumper, going from a mid width front bumper to an Ace stubby front bumper with a stinger!

Here are the pictures so far...

Here is my favorite single shot from today...

The guys doing it are taking snapshots for me but in the garage I have a go pro taking a time lapse picture every 5 seconds!

Should make a very cool time lapse video clip!

Look am, no wheels or axles!

The mechanics are taking lots of stills but I'm also running a go pro in time lapse mode, today it took one picture every five seconds, wound up with a little over 6,000 big hd stills

I need to tweak the quality before I post them to YouTube

I'll have the go pro running every day this week, not sure if it will run over to next week, they found one front lower control arm a little bent and a back one very bent, so those should be in tomorrow for replacement

Getting the drive shafts custom made by some local driveshaft guru

Be nice if it were to be done by the weekend, but their swapping a whole lotta stuff so it takes what it takes to do it right

I'll try and make a public album on photobucket for all of the stills the guys are taking for me!

Most of the work is done by a local 4x4 shop, Archies Off Road

The owner is really picky that everything be done just right and so am I so it works out great!

They get customers from over a hundred miles away
