Default My overhead storage fabrication

Ok, this is a work in progress and I already have some ideas to make this fab way better. I just wanted to share it for the DIY guys that might want to build this also. First off, this idea sparked from the annoying lack of storage space in my JK and I didnt want to pay $240 for a Tuffy Overhead Box. I have back ground in welding, but have very limited experience with aluminum. Lets just say I need some more practice before I wont need the grinder anymore. I'm already working on an improved lockable type box and I'll post pics when its complete. The box is attached to the windshield frame and no braces to the roll bar are needed. No drilling was needed and I used the existing hardware of the JK for install. It cost me a 1/4 of the cost that Tuffy wanted and I know its not as good, but its in the works.

Sorry the pics arent the best
