the axle is a 3500 lbs. axle with 5on5 bolt pattern but I am also using 1.5" spacers. I will probably figure out the wieght before I leave on vacation wed. and let you all know at least what the metal work wieghs

yeah the pinion bearings went bad and I guess that chewed the gears up and one of the carrier bearings was spun I'm hopin that it gets done by tomorrow cause I am leaving wed. morning for 2 weeks. this is the third set of superior gears I've had I thought they were supposed to be "superior" buy now I could have had a d-60 for what I have into the d-44

I am assuming it is going to wiegh in at around 600-700lbs. I am going to measure out all the material and calculate the wieght when I am done. it isn't going to have anymore steel added it is going to be skinned on the lowest part by plywood painted with truck bed liner and from the sides (where the fold down tables are) will be done in a product called di-bond which is two thin sheets of aluminum laminated onto some kind of plastic core it super rigid and strong but also super light wieght
