Looks good! In the first pic, what is the metal bracket attached to on the spare mount?

so simple..2@ 1/4x20x 1" bolts, 2.5" apart. bolted straight thru the aluminum 3rd brake light mount. (a sepetate ground was needed to a bolt on the spare tire mount because for some reason the brake light mount is not a good ground in my case)

I shuold add that I still need to clean up the wires a bit. The blue wire is my positive and run thru the factory grommet and follows the factory wire harnes along the inside and thru the cloth shield at the hinge area and then down thru the factory grommet above the passanger side brake light and tapped into the reverse wire. (I have a relay in line from previous higher wattage halogen lights that I had on earler located below my bumper.)

I did something along those lines. I love the extra light output. I only used one led light though. I made it so I can turn it 360 degrees so when light is needed on the side of the jeep or even in the trunk I can twist it.

I found them on Amazon from a place called Tuff Lights, I'm sure that they are sold by many different places. I did a search under "12 volt LED work lights, in automotive"

These particular ones are 27 watt with a 60* flood lens (they do have a 30* spot also).
the current price was under $70 for the pair but the prices fluctuate, I waited too long because before Christmas they were about $55 a pair...

I love the mounting idea! How is the light output? I've been eyeing the various versions of these cheaper LEDs that are around, and the number of lumens seems comparable to higher-end LEDs, like Rigids. Do you have any night shots?
