Default My JK with the top and doors off.

Here a few pics of my Sahara without the top or doors on.

Here is the link to my project jk gallery with all my pics. I can't wait to really take it offroading, but the closest place with any decent wheeling is about 2 hours from here, so it might be a while

How much of a task was it to pull all 4 doors and throw them in the garage? Just wondering how practical taking all 4 off really is. Seems to me to be a bit much and makes me want half doors as a practical alternative.

Edit: Are those 17" wheels or 18"?

those are 18"s, they are the bridgestones, that is an easy giveaway. The 17's on the Sahara's are goodyears.

Considering we had a high of like -10C here today, I doubt I'll be doing this anytime soon, but I love the way it looks! Can't wait to run around topless!

Do you run around without the torx bolts? Is there any problem with leaving them off? Are there any vibrations without the bolts in place?

I can't wait to drive around with my doors off. I've been in XJ's for too long.

It was warm enough for about 3 days when I first picked up my JK. It took me about 40 minutes (by myself) to remove the top and doors the first time and about 30 minutes to put them back on a few days later. It gets easier after completing the task a couple of times.

Did you leave the bolts out when you put the doors back on?

No, I put them back on. When summer gets here I will most likely leave them off.

What did you do for a mirror when the doors are off? I'm thinking of cobbling something together out of parts from Kragen...

I use a little convex mirror that is velcrowed to the windshield frame.

This summer I will most likely rig up a larger mirror.
