my jeep was broke in to
happened last night in the driveway behind my house the doors were off. they popped the center console broke it and took everything my new expensive head lamp 3 nice knifes. i phone charger. and what ever else i had in there i cant recall. bastards. why dont they make me lock boxes out of metal.

Sorry to hear that. I always try to remember to not put anything in it that I can't afford to lose. I do have the lockbox under the seat for my gps and things like that.

That's always a shame. Ignorant people would find a way to ruin a metal one too. You hear those stories about people gettin their soft top cup open when the damn thing unzips from the outside...

Thieving scum. I bought a winch AFTER I got stuck (and an expensive extraction), so maybe these are helpful to you...
Tuffy's metal Center Console, and Underseat Drawer are both decent. IMO the Center Console is better made and more theft resistant, than the drawer. I obviously haven't tried, but feel I could pry open the drawer with a screwdriver.

That def does suck. I purposely leave mine unlocked. Only thing remotely worth anything is the stock radio. That way I avoid any vandalism while they search for absolutely nothing of value. Still sucks that you were robbed, I would still be pissed!
