There are other removable stinger type bumpers... They just have 8 bolts.

How much, how much. OH and I'll take the brush guard full width of outer tire coverage so that I am legal for daily driving and the stinger for off roading

Having done a few DIY things to my JK, good job thinking outside the box.

I would be careful with having the welded bends as your forces could bend or break in a direction you may not want.

Instead of Hime joints, what about a plate welded into the tube (like on structural steel)? Then you could use 2 plates on either side welded to your bumper. Also you could space those plates properly to fit a standard 3/4" D-ring. Your model D-ring looks a little big.

Don't make too easily removed. It may not be there after a trip to your favorite shopping mall.
