Now thats interesting. Should you have to use it, you better hope you have some strong ass pins holding that thing down.
This looks really plausible, i'm excited to see it.

I can see the shackles and the lower tubes having clearance problems when using them to pull. The shackle is going to want to occupy the same space as the lower part of the stinger when pulled straight forward or forward and up. would either have to use large hoop shackles to gain distance from the tube or use a very tight radius bend at the bottom. But the tight bend would probably give up some of the intended strength. This is an excellent idea and a very feasible one, just might need some slight tweeking.

LOVE IT!!!!
Question, though. Why did you decide to use the Heim joints instead of welded mount points? Was it to make the thing easier to line up when you go to put it on?
I can see all sorts of applications for this concept. It is sort of a modular design thing that allows you to mix and match at will. Looking forward to the finished product. Thread subscribed.

ok, I like this view of it better as it shows the interaction between the shackles and stinger bottom, I guess my only concern is the size of the tubing being sturdy enough if "tested". I really like the design, and are the holes in the center for the factory fogs?
