Oh yeah, that rear bumper is really nice. That's about what I have in mind for mine.
How long? Not sure, I worked on it for probably 8hrs total, that's a lot of fitting/eyeballing/and thinking figured in there. I didn't have any plans so there was a lot of sitting there staring at it too. I've got one of the small Lincoln MIG welders, can't remember the model number but you can weld with flux core or gas shield either one. I just use the flux core wire and it's worked well for me, I've built a trailer with it, repaired some farm equipment, built a kayak rack for my truck, etc.
