Default My highly technical and over engineered door storage system!

Being that I am [NOT] mechanically inclined at all and lack the time/skill to build those kick ass wall hangers for our JK doors, this is what I have come up with! Enjoy, and feel free to copy my idea!

You probably need to be lifted and have a wider stance than stock to pull this off!

Awesome idea.... but..... I would be buying new doors about the second time I pulled in. Hope your luck don't run out as well. You can buy a set of hangers for a little of nothing and the people who are mechanically inclined have already done the work for you.

Even I don't trust myself running over ~$1000-$1500 every time I pull in the garage, brave!

I just know one day I'd pancake one or more doors.

what happened to laying down a blanket and leaning the doors up against the wall? Glad this works for you, but can;t even imagine what it'd be like to pull in and hear a $3000 crunch

This is a huge PITA. When I pull in I literally get out of the Jeep 4 or 5 times to make sure I'm on track to not run over my doors! If it weren't for the highly overcrowded garage, I'd definitely be leaning these against the wall. Dont worry guys, this is a very temporary solution, I'm getting ready to move to a different house where I'll have all the room I need!

I'd at least build a "cage" for them out of 2x4s" that you can set them in, put a 2x4 or two on top of them, would be fairly durable then, wouldn't take but 15 mins or so with a circle saw and some framing nails until you get moved. May cost $15 in wood

You'd either push the entire crate, or crawl it (it'd hold). Probably slide it before hurting anything/
