My custom front bumper
Almost finished with it. Still needs some grinding here and there and some paint, but the fab work is done. I cut about three inches off the frame and had to get creative to make enough room for the winch plate and the winch itself. The solenoid components are mounted behind the grill and the plug-in for the winch is mounted in the bumper. So far I only have about $170 in it. $150 of that was for a 4x8 sheet of 3/16 steel that I only used about a fourth of. So really I have about 60 bucks in it

Wow, that's cool. What are you going to do to prevent the winch cable from rubbing off the paint, looks like it is touching the bumper as it goes over to the shackle.

Very nice craftsmanship. But I'd like to offer one constructive criticism. The shackle mount bolts are now angled which could lead to sheering. Probably not going to be an issue, but I'd always make sure to throw a blanket/jacket/floormat over any chain/cable you might hook up to them. And try to pull in a diagonal if you use them. In any case, good work on the bumper.
