Default My Blackout Build

Hey everyone,

I'm relatively new to the forum and trying to become more active. I'm the proud owner of a 2008 Black 2DR JK. It's hard for me to build it up because I'm a Freshman at West Virginia University, so I do what I can to it, when I can, and when funds allow (College is rather expensive).

My JK so far:

-MOPAR® Performance 2" Lift Kit with Bilstein Shocks = $1600.00
-Pro Comp Series 7098 1-Piece Flat Black Finish Alloy Wheels 17x8 = $147.00 x 5
-Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2 32.7" = ???
-Smittybilt SRC Rocker Guards in Textured Black = $280.00
-AIRAID® Cold Air Dam Intake = $250.00
-Bushwacker Cowl Vent Air Scoop in Textured Black = $45.00
-Skyjacker 3" Rock Ready Roll Bar Grab Handles = $31.00
-DynoMax Stainless Steel Single Exit High Clearance Exhaust System = $360.00
-20% Window Tint on Front Windows = $60.00
-Bestop® Tinted Window Kit in Black Diamond = $240.00
-MOPAR® Mirror Relocation Brackets = $70.00
-Dynatrac ProSteer Lower Single Side Ball Joint Kit = $175.00
-Dynatrac ProSteer Upper Single Side Ball Joint Kit = $175.00

Next on my list:

-Bushwacker Flat Style Flares = $580.00 (Currently sitting in my garage waiting to be put on)
-Goodyear Wrangler MT/R Tire with Kevlar 35x12.50r17 = $340.00 x 5

Do you ever use the rocker guards as steps?? Or are they to close to the body of the jeep? Just thinking about buying these and would like to know.

I've never really needed to use them as a step since I hop right in it fine, but I have stood on it to talk to people and rested my foot on it while my doors are off and I'm driving. I highly recommend them!

Seriously? Hell yeah man. I don't have my Jeep up here with me currently, (had to get new ball joints so I could get 35's) but should after spring break. PM me.

Here is an idea! VHT the tail lights and turn signals if you want to black it out.
