Surprisingly it didn't mess up the factory finish/paint. Just use a quality torx socket (size T50 I believe it was) and take your time.

that looks great, I think I am going to tackle that project myself this week. My hinges are looking horrible!!
Were the hinges very hard to get lined back up?

Looks great, and is on my agenda now that my hinges are starting to show signs of paint deteriation.

I dont know about other colors, but im guessing the bolts for your hinges are the same color as the jeep like mine...when you bedlined the hinges and bolts how was it getting them back on without messing up the bedliner...did the same size torx driver fit after bedlining??

I put four coats of bedliner on my hinges and bolts. Had no problem using the same torx driver to reinstall. Just be carefull when tightening.
