NO - turn key, installed - for an 08 JK Rubicon with a manual tranny.
The shop is in Petaluma and he says the JK's are much easier to swap than TJ's. I can ask for some specifics and get back here. But this was a "drop off and pick up" deal. I didn't ask if I get any parts back (like the motor or whatever else he pulled out).

There are several companies out there that would be happy to take your cash and do a turnkey Hemi swap.
Or, for about half of what some of those shops charge, you can do a DIY swap using one of their kits, and purchase your own engine/trans.

Anyone have experience with the kits, if I do it myself, are they all pretty complete?
Is any one kit better than the others?

Jeep Speed Shop (the JSS) mentioned earlier. They don't yet have their conversion kit ready, but they have done the swap. I'm sure it's on thier site. They are also the ones that do the 5.7 swap for about 11k. Unlike the other places though, to get that price they do use used motors I believe. If you want to come in on a do it yourself with a kit from BOR, etc to get in under 11k you'd be using a used one as well I believe.

Any experience/opinions on the RIPP supercharger?

More affordable, still need an exhaust, but Hemi's are way more work and more money too.
I'm just wondering if anyone has done the Ripp?
