My 3.8 is coming out, what are good options...
The motor of my 07 Wrangler is coming out, warranty will replace the short block.
What are thoughts of a motor swaps?
What works?
What else would have to be updated/modded to be compatible.
What is economically feasible? (I don't have bottomless pockets)

Not sure what your budget is, but there is an installer on the north coast here in CA that can do a turn key 5.7 hemi install in a JK for 11-13K. That is about half my quote for the same install in my TJ.
I have wondered if the new pentastar motor will drop in to a JK? That's what I'll be looking into when they become available in production for the JK. If it's more than 6K, I'll probably just save for the 5.7.

There are several companies out there that would be happy to take your cash and do a turnkey Hemi swap.
Or, for about half of what some of those shops charge, you can do a DIY swap using one of their kits, and purchase your own engine/trans.
