JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

The motor of my 07 Wrangler is coming out, warranty will replace the short block.

What are thoughts of a motor swaps?

What works?

What else would have to be updated/modded to be compatible.

What is economically feasible? (I don't have bottomless pockets)

What's the background behind the motor pull?

Not sure what your budget is, but there is an installer on the north coast here in CA that can do a turn key 5.7 hemi install in a JK for 11-13K. That is about half my quote for the same install in my TJ.

I have wondered if the new pentastar motor will drop in to a JK? That's what I'll be looking into when they become available in production for the JK. If it's more than 6K, I'll probably just save for the 5.7.

Burnsville Offroad
Screaming Lizard Customs
COP 4x4
AEV
JSS

There are several companies out there that would be happy to take your cash and do a turnkey Hemi swap.

Or, for about half of what some of those shops charge, you can do a DIY swap using one of their kits, and purchase your own engine/trans.

Sounds like a bearing. It is covered by warranty, if I just want the 3.8L put back in, but since it's all coming apart anyway...

Will they pay part of the cost of a swap or something?
