Ok so this is really bothering me, i posted that i got 200 miles on a half tank (actually 185), but a few think its impossible.. Im trying to figure this out, for one I felt really stupid and two I am brand new to Jeeps.. I have 0 knowledge except from what I could grab from these forums and JP mag.. The dealer I bought my Jeep from had little knowledge on what has been done to this Jeep.. (07 JKU) So from what I can tell: I think it has a 4in Skyjacker( just matching to pics from website) it has 255/75R16. Running 80mph my RPM's were just about 2300( might help judge gear size) under the hood everything looks stock, no CAI and no chip ( that I know of). I can tell you that at 70mph on slight washboard is extremely scary and not a good way to discover that i need some attention to the front end.. Any input is welcome, but please remember I am new to Jeeps and trying to learn.. Thanks guys/gals..

snap some pics tomorrow of the front suspension, steering set up and rear suspension. We will figure out exactly what you have on there. Turning 2300 at that speed seems like you werent regeared. If you have access to a gps unit, check your speedometer against the gps speed and see how close it is. We can go from there.

I copied this from another thread but it may help you in determining what gears you have.
Chock the front tires, fore and aft.
Put the transmission in neutral.
Emergency brake off.
Jack the left rear tire off the ground.
Put a jack stand under the frame, just in case the jack fails (had to add this).
Put an index mark on the aft end of the drive shaft, visible from the left rear wheel.
Put an index mark on the left rear tire at the 6 o'clock position.
Rotate the left rear tire 2 complete revolutions while counting how many times the index mark on the drive shaft passes its original position.
That number will be your axle ratio.
Remove jack stand and lower jack.
Put transmission in gear or Park, apply emergency brake.
Remove chocks.
If you have limited slip, jack up both rear wheels and rotate one revolution, making sure both tires rotate equally.
If the drive shaft rotated almost 3¼ turns, you have 3.21
If the drive shaft rotated almost 3¾ turns, you have 3.73
If the drive shaft rotated a little over 4 turns, you have 4.10
If the drive shaft rotated 4½ turns, you have 4.56
If the drive shaft rotated a little under 5 turns, you have 4.88
If the drive shaft rotated a little over 5 turns, you have 5.13
