Mounting my Kabar knife

Would not worry about it either... If I got pulled over I would probably tell the cop there was a knife about 2 inches from my head (not hands) before he finds out and freaks out. should not be an issue.
All I did was google "CA fixed blade laws" they are pretty boring to read, it seems like a pretty general law. Stay out of schools, airports and such, this should apply to just about everywhere.
to the comment about it coming out during a roll over, i doubt that would be a worry. I have worked with the M9 quite a bit and have always known them to give plenty of resistance when drawing them out. I would be more concerned about hitting my head on it, its either that or the roll bar. Although anything is possible I guess.
