+1 I used the plastic fusion paint back in the day. It lasted a long time and looked glossy.

The fusion paint is what I wanted to do in the first place but since its not quite warm enough, and the faded plastic had been driving me nuts, I just gave the back to black a shot. If it doesn't hold up for long, once the warm weather finally gets here I'll end up painting them.
