I agree on the Toyo's... Have them - love them - heavy as hell... Had KM2's liked them too but, the Toyos grip better off road and very smooth on the street...

I think.the nitto trail graps are a good compromise between these two tires. Mid weight, stronger sides than the km2 and truer to size. Great on road too. Only downside is the treadwear is not as long as the km2

Dude, nitto and toyo are made from the same compound, in the same factories, by the same company, in an almost identical tread pattern. I can get a toyo 37 for cheaper than i can get a nitto 37" tread life is less than a km2 but comparable to any other m/t. Lets keep this factual for the man.

Just throwing in my input, is that not what the forum is for? I personally don't like either, and prices in my area may be different from yours. Giving the guy my opinion because that's what he asked for. Jeepers talkin to other jeepers

No issue with you giving an opinion. However your opinion was not supported with any factual base or reasoning as to why they are "junk". The tires may or may not have anything to do with your friends struggles and $396 each from dtd is certainly not cheap. The forum is definately a place for opinion and suggestion, it just needs to have some solid legs to stand on. Happy jeepin!
