Default modify stock bumpers

Ok I have a question does anybody else have the ugly mopar tube bumpers on their Jk? Only thing I don't like is the tubes...bumpers aren't the strongest yeah but they are their and my other question is has anybody modified there bumpers? Winch? Or added to the ends....if so post some pics

Can you post pics? I think these are the bumpers that only have the tube ends, but im not sure

If they only have the tube ends, i don't see why you cant just hack off the tube ends and have yourself a nice stubby.

Well the front I don't have any problems taking the front tubes off they just unbolt....only problem I have with taking back tubes off is that the rear pinch seam is showing( im not sure if that's the correct word for it)

I hate the chrome grill....in the process of taking all the chrome off....its from previous owner

Tubes aren't exactly durable though, only have one bolt going through each one.....grille isn't that bad but tubes just gotta go, what I was wanting to know if anybody else has these and possibly welded something onto rear bumper to take care of the pinch seam

I would pull the tubes off the front and sell off your rear bumper for a mopar steel bumper. Stainless steel bumpers are pricey so you might get some good money for the rear.
