Well I can't lie, I went to grab my phone when it started ringing. I couldn't get it out of my coat pocket and the traffic came to a complete stop from about 35 mph and I never touched the brakes and SLAM! It was a delivery truck for a local lumber company. Thank The Lord the driver was terrified, all he wanted was to leave, no cops, no nothin and he had no damage so I said,
I am good too. So he left. He must have been in trouble at work.

I feel for you, my Jeep got ran into two weeks ago by a little old lady in a brand new Caddy!
The main thing is you are OK.

Good news is that you and the other guy are okay. The damage looks pretty minimal, so it should be pretty easy to fix. If you don't want to upgrade to a bumper, I'm sure you could find a stock bumper for super cheap.

Don't matter how bad the accident was.... If the sensor don't get jarred around hard enough the airbags won't deploy..I walked away from the jeep with a single scratch on my face..... It's a good thing cause it prevents injuries due to the airbags..... They work when u need them to tho....
That's my fj.. Hit a tree doing 50... The airbag and seat belt combined let me walk away without a single scratch!

to the OP....id be interested to know what damage there is BEHIND the bumper if you took that hard a shot, you're likely to have some crush.

I think there is an attack on JKs because last week I got rear ended by a pizza delivery guy in a 2012 VW golf. Totaled his car there wasn't even a scratch on my girl. Gotta love having a hitch on it cause that's what he hit and even that wasn't damaged.
