matte vs textured finish

Here is a side by side comparison, sorry pics aren't that great! It was a bad time of day to take them outside. As you can see it's hard to tell the difference. The bumper with the D ring on it is the textured.

The textured is about the same as the stock fenders as far as texture and the matte is like if you painted a piece of metal with flat to semi gloss black paint. Hope this helps!

Realize that this is moot for you since you've made your purchase, but thought I'd add this in: Virtually every bumper and rock rails out there are available in a textured/krinkle finish. Most companies don't offer choice--just the textured finish. I bought a semi-gloss black front bumper, and searched for other bumper options with a smooth finish. LOD was one of the very, very few. So, I ended up with a ten month wait for a Shrockworks bumper to match the front. Not complaining--love my bumper. But, anyone who wants to keep the same theme throughout their vehicle should bear this in mind if they decide to go for anything other than a textured/krinkled finish.
