Go with matte unless you enjoy cleaning the "textured" stock fenders then you can add the bumper to the list.

Here is a side by side comparison, sorry pics aren't that great! It was a bad time of day to take them outside. As you can see it's hard to tell the difference. The bumper with the D ring on it is the textured.

The textured is about the same as the stock fenders as far as texture and the matte is like if you painted a piece of metal with flat to semi gloss black paint. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for taking the time to take those pics. I went with textured after seeing the side by side. Thanks again bro.

Realize that this is moot for you since you've made your purchase, but thought I'd add this in: Virtually every bumper and rock rails out there are available in a textured/krinkle finish. Most companies don't offer choice--just the textured finish. I bought a semi-gloss black front bumper, and searched for other bumper options with a smooth finish. LOD was one of the very, very few. So, I ended up with a ten month wait for a Shrockworks bumper to match the front. Not complaining--love my bumper. But, anyone who wants to keep the same theme throughout their vehicle should bear this in mind if they decide to go for anything other than a textured/krinkled finish.
