that is amazing, i was looking into buying one but i think it looked pretty bad. It is all made of steel but its just ugly looking, i would go for something like this instead.

That looks cool, how hard is it to cut a hole through the fender?

Question on your HI-Lift on the hood. Does your washer fluid sprayer hit the jack? It looks like you have the Hi-lift up high enough for the sprayer to work. If this is the case what did you use to lift it up?

Thanks and the snorkel looks awesome, when its complete let us know on the performance of it.

3.5" hole saw glides right through.
Or did you mean how hard emotionally?

The sprayer just cleans my jack right now. I am moving the sprayer farther back soon..my original jack mount was higher, but I wanted it dropped closer to the hood. Full write up on jack mount in my threads.

Here are the pics everyone requested of how the inside of the snorkel is routed. After weeks of testing, this is my final design.

The Outer prototype is PVC and ABS. Yes.

Once Ive fine tuned the entire snorkel, Ill replace outer with different material., or fiberglass existing to make smooth solid piece.

Although some days I like the rudimentary and industrial look of the Piping.

I like it. Have you thought about swapping the pipes so the intakes on top? That way if any water does get in hopefully it stays in the bottom of the box and not through the filter?
