Yeah...it was like 75 here in Baton Rouge...been like that for 2 weeks. I hear we have a cold spell coming for Mardi Gras. Possibly in the 60's. I may even have to put on the heater.

You did real good reading my story and figuring me out. It was fun! My flight was diverted to Anchoridge way back in Feb. '68, enroute to join my squadron in the Gulf of Tonkin. It sure was cold walking across the tarmack. It was even colder when I stepped onto the flight deck after the carrier had moved off the coast of N. Korea during the Pueblo fiasco. Never been so cold in my life.

The weather might have been nice earlier, but in a little more than an hour, we will have severe thunder storms entering Birmingham from the west. They are putting out tornado and straight line wind warnings in western AL. I guess I need to check the liquor cabinet.
