Do you know the weight difference between the steel and synthetic line?

Not the precise difference, but on average, a comparable diameter and length of synthetic rope is usually about 1/7 the weight of the same diameter/length of steel cable.

Pretty sure Synth is like 3 lbs, Steel is 30+

Nice set up Russ!!!

May I suggest a winch cover, to protect your synthetic line from weathering?

The cover will extend the life of your winch and your new synthetic line.

Yeah, I had one when I had my Warn 9.5ti...I just haven't picked one up yet for this one yet.

With the help of my 10 year old son, the new fairlead is finally installed. It's noticeably lighter. Maybe saved another 4 or 5 pounds.

Your going love the synthetic much easer to deal with. I've used my winch several times sense I changed over and really like it.
