Default Looking for hubs to fit stock 5 on 5 JK rims!

I am building a off road tear drop trailer but I am having a hard time finding a hub to fit. The center of the hub, is to small for a standard trailer hub. Anyone out there have a source for hubs? I have my stock JK 5 on 5 rims and would like to use them for the trailer. Thanks all! Mike

My friends and I lifted our tent trailer and replaced the axle and ran into the same problem, but we are using the Rubicon rims from a TJ. Our solution was to just put spacers on it. For some reason the spacers fit over the hub and gave us enough room to get the rim on. It wasn't the center whole that was too small, it was the whole where the cap snaps on.

I would try and find some 1 1/2" spacers on the for sale forum here and try that. The worst that could happen is you resell the spacers for what you bought them for and loose $10 on shipping.

one thing you may try, find a older minivan with 5x5. was looking at a caravan at up&p here in the springs, its rear axle was solid and had 5x4.5 (which was going to work when i had my cherokee)

think chevy vans may run that axle/hub, and mustangs as well.

I used spacers to mount my wheels. I took it from a 5x5.5 to a 5x5. 1 1/2 inch spacer

You really have 3 fairly easy options
1. Use spacers
2. Purchase new hubs for your existing axle. If there available.
3. purchase a new axle with the 5 x 5 hubs that you need. A new axle to spec isn't as expensive as you might think.
