My personal limited experience/ I have Mickey Thompson Metz 35x12.5 and think they are awesome while they last. Superior toughness and grip in any terrain. 35 k in a year and half and I need new tires though. And they suck when worn down. Quiet on highway though. I have friends with bf Goodrich km2 and thy don't get stuck much and the tires still look new after equal miles. I think my next buy. Mtz too expensive. 470 per tire vs 230

For Nitto Tires, the only thing I can say is:
Ask yourself how much will you be off road, and in what kind of terrain/conditions.
For me living in southern California, I don't see much mud on the places I go (unless I look for it..). And I chose the Nitto Terra Grapplers due to the highway stability and performance on sandy trails. This is based on my own experience from previous trucks. Other people might have other experiences. I could have chosen the Trail Grapplers due to more a aggressive look and better wet off road performance, but did not since I had the Terra Grapplers earlier, and love the freeway comfort and stability. This in combination with excellent off road performance in the terrain we see a lot of over here...: Desert and other dry surfaces. For the record, the Terra Grapplers does not do terrible in wet conditions... But in the right mud, only mud tires work.. Back to compromising..
Mathematic formula for purchase:
Wallet content - (Compromises + desires) = Tire choice
Just kidding. Good luck!
BTW:Heard only good things about the Duratracs, but never tested it..

This is my Rubicon with 315/70R17 Goodyear Duratrac tires and my old Ram with 315/75R16 Procomp mud terrain tires (same size tire, different size wheel hole is only difference) pictures help make decisions so here u can see what the Duratrac tires look like on a jk and u can at least see how cool the procomps are even tho their not on a jk their still on a MOPAR! ITS MOPAR OR NO CAR!!!!
