Looking for 2dr /w 33's and 3" lift
So I have a stock X and am looking to finally put some upgrades on it now that I have the money. My original plan is 33" ProComp A/T with a 3" Black Diamond lift but for the most part I have been seeing 3" lifts with 35" tires.
The reason I chose 33"s was for the gas mileage and that I heard 35"s mess with the gearing, something I can't afford to modify yet. Any input on what to go with and pictures would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks guys, looking forward to the responses.

my jeep had a 3 inch lift and 33's. check my album and you can see what it looks like. there is a decent amount of room in the wheel wells so i just upgraded to 35's. honestly i havent notices a big decrease in mileage and it is ok on the highway. i have 4.10 gears though. plus the 35 inch KM2's look sick!

That makes me feel a little better seeing the 33's with the 3" on yours, it is a decent amount of space but it doesnt look bad. I like the 35's better but I cant afford the gearing

Just something to consider... I installed the Teraflex 2.5" coil lift, which provides more on the order of 3" of actual lift. I bought the kit with shocks, and then added adjustable lower front control arms (Teraflex) and front track bar (JKS) and ended up with a really nice system for under $1k. The 33 A/T's soon followed, and most recently I had 4.56 gears installed. The total package feels great, and still gives the option to go to 35's later if desired. Here's my ride before I got it dirty this weekend.

Wow, that is one beautiful setup you've got going there, I will definitely take that into consideration, I just want to get a look at as many pics as possible. Anyone else?
