Looks great OP, I picked up my OR-Fab tire carrier (second hand) this weekend... Will be installing it next weekend I'm hoping!

I use the stretchy velcro straps from Home Depot (we call it Home Despot) around the cans and the frame. Holds the cans on tight and keeps them from rattling. I do, of course, still use the hold downs that come with the carrier. The straps just help keep the cans in place.
