We installed our LOD rear bumper and it is very nice.

Where the rubber stop contacts the tailgate we put a round plastic door knob stop. Picked it up at Lowes.

Default Body lift?

Hey Wayoflife,

I'm looking at this rear bumper as well. Question...Is that gap normal on the rear or is it from a body lift? The bumper looks like it's sitting lower on ths body.

I know WOL has BL so I assume that the gap is due to that and not normal.

That looks AMAZING!!!! I love the rear fogs and the integrated trailer hitch up high.

How is the build quality?

Fitment?

Ease of use?

I am down to tiny details in deciding between these two bumpers, the big drawback I see of the Expedition One is that it may not work with a body lift and I may do that in the future, but it does have the cool design of opening with the rear door in one smooth movement and the cool ass fuel can. The LoD has the rear lights and the high mounted hitch, ability to carry 2 cans, has the top rack....

The build quality is amazing, and as for fitment....it is a nice tight fit that is solid and you can tell will not rattle around like some other bumpers. Very easy to use, and the swing out tire carrier has a sping/pin lock so it wont come back and hit ya. My only suggestions are to make sure you have all of the required bolts before install (i've been shorted on bolts/nuts/washers on everything i have bought from LOD), and look into forking out the extra money to pick up some grade 8 replacement bolts/nuts/washers. I've had two bolts snap on me already. Other than that no complaints at all. Awesome bumper for the money.

WOL:

Look into the swirl.....

.....you will drive to North Carolina.

.....you will give me your rear bumper.

.....you will install it on my Jeep.

The bumper looks great! What did you do with the old one? Hace you started the bidding yet?
