Those look great! Very easy to do and cheap too. The cord is probably 550 paracord.

Yeap 505. I actually got some while geocaching and thought this was a perfect test. Then I bought some black and tan from a local surplus store. A few hours later, tada.
Mounting was easy, one end is bolted near the visors and the other by more paracord just after the plastic corner piece.
I am happy with it. On passenger side, was my first, I tried to melt the cord together...not so good an idea. Lol. I melted a little of the roll bar cover. Oh well it is a jeep.
I may make them. Let me think about it and will let you know.

So how much total linear feet can each handle unravel to? This is a cool idea, isn't there a DIY floating around this site about this?

I made a set my self last week. I used ends I could easily detach. I believe I used around 20 ft each. How long were yours finished?
