Agreed. A buddy of mine has his TJ done and it always looks like crap / dirty. He had it done about 3 years ago and it is now coming off / chipping off in big chunks. I would not recommend the outside. Plus it fades....

The question I have for every story is what brand, who did it, and did it have a gloss on the outside to keep it from fading. There are so many crap jobs done that there are alot of bad stories. I will get a warranty with mine for chips and fading. Ill be ok with that. It will also be better for cleaning with the gloss on the outside.

This is Linex. I paid for the gloss finish & am real happy with it. Been on there for about a year now.

Like I saidbefore.............There are so many crap brands and jobs done that you cant listen to all the feedback. I want to know who did it and the brand before I can consider the feedback. I did a crap job myself once. I wanted a cheap out and I got a cheap product to come out too. Line-x being sprayed by a dealer is not the same liner as an at home job.I do thank you for helping me with your thoughts tho. I thank you guys, but I cant compare a good liner to a crap at home special. btw here are some pics to look at

Anybody done this yet? I wonder how much a 2-door would cost to spray. I saw a truck done with Line-x Xtra, and it looked like it just got done. Turns out it was 3 years ago, but it still looked brand new...

Hmm I wouldn't have thought it would cost that much. Shit it only cost 600 for a short box. I'm going to go and see what it costs up here. I did my grill and my spare hood. So now I want to do the rest. But I'm hoping they can do a different color then black.

I made a bunch of phone calls, and it comes down to the fact that there's a lot more prep and things to tape off on the exterior of a vehicle than doing a truck bed. It takes more skill and is a higher degree of difficulty... that's why it costs more.

Also, for everyone who says it'll fade and look like crap, that DOESN'T apply to Line-x Xtra. They guarantee it won't fade.

Can you post a picture pic of the panels on side of hood, I've been thinking about doing this when I do my door sills. Thanks
