Limb risers with no roof rack
Just thought I'd show off my latest project. In Ohio we have tons of trees on any trail you run. I wanted limb risers but minus the roof rack since that's more stuff for branches to catch on. Here is two nights work and 30bucks. Made the brackets out of 1/8 aluminum. The hardware is rated for 200lbs. All holes were drilled inside the door frame allowing them to be filled and touched up if removed and not ruin looks. So far two rain storms and door seals still working. Any improvements/suggestions would be welcomed!!!

Here are mine, a bit more then yours but I like the clean look. I wasn't a fan of the looped and clamped cable like yours. But to each their own! I made the mounts myself and have yet to paint them. All in all this cost me $140 but it's all stainless, you know what that means!!!!

There really isn't any and you can pick up marine grade stainless hardware online for dirt cheap. This project shouldn't cost more than 35 bucks at the most, unless someone is making the brackets for you which would get expensive.

I see the definite need for them in some of the areas I off road in but I dont know if I would want to leave them on at all times. Maybe a quick disco one ... hmmmm
