thanks guys, i used some 1/8" aluminum. the tools are a must, fortunately for me i've been helping a friend of mine restore his airstream travel trailer from scratch so in exchange he's taught me how to weld and fabricate and machine and allows me to use his shop at my leisure. so i'm always building stuff now for my el camino but now i'm gonna start building some stuff for the jk. i would like to lift it before i fabricate my undercarriage armor, and then i'd like to build a nice rear bumper and sliders, but in all do time. the light brackets for a first crack at i'd say they are ok. i will be 100% honnest, the holes made to mount to the windshield are a bit bigger just for the sake of lining things up right. i wasn't off by much, maybe a 1/16 on one of the holes, so luckily i punched them out at 5/16"

Great job! But can you flip the upside down. Maybe even add dual antenna mounts?

Im not sure why i would want to flip them upside down or mount antennas? I already have an antenna like every other jeep thats too long and just butt ugly that ill probably just get rid off
