Spacers
For my 07 Rubicon I went with 1 1/2" spidertrax. To run 35's I think you need the 1 1/2".

Yes.
You have to remember to think 3-dimensionally with tires. Cause not only are they taller, but essentially are also "wider" (not thickness) when you turn the wheel.
Dig?
So it needs that room to turn as well.. hence the spacer is needed to give it the extra space inside the wheel-well so it doesn't rub.

So what backspacing do I need so I don't have to use spacers??? It seems cheaper to just buy new wheels. $196 for the spacers and the risk of premature tire wear cuz the wheels aint wide enough. I will probably go 15's if I am buying new.

315/70/17 Nitto Dune Grapplers
Stock 17x7.5 rubicon wheels
1.5 wheel spacers
2.5 RC Lift
Nitto recommended 8.5-10 rim size
They fit the stock rims nice slight rub at full articulation at full turn

Wow
This thread has been all over the map. From whether or not it is okay to post pics of your wife to talking about the price of wheel spacers. Well I will try to get it back on track. However these are the stock alloy 16" rims that were an option on the 07's. They are also 1/2" narrower then the rubicon 17" moabs. But here you go.
