I'm running 35x12.5 on 15in MB 72'S NOLIFT! Trimmed the front, stubby bumper mod, doing the back fenders tonight.

33's on 17x9 wheels with a 4.5" bs, no lift...

Matt black mb72 (got them for discount tire direct, perfect fit, light weight and affordable)
35x12.50r15 mastercraft courser mt
Smittybilt xrc stinger with milemarker sec 8 winch
Orf rear bumper
Smittybilt side armor, and flat fenders.
Been built on a budget but love it next step is Dana 60 swap and 40's

Nitto Terra Grapplers 285/70/17 or 33" my wheels are 17x8 w/4.5" backspace. They only rub on the edge of the plastic piece pictured at full turn on an unleveled surface otherwise no rub. No lift or suspension work.

A lot of people I know take that air dam off when they put tires and/or a lift on their Jeep. Something else I've heard is people cutting that edge off so they can keep the rest of the dam.

Aerodynamics. That's all it's for. One thing you could come across if you remove it is hood flutter so I would unbolt it and see if you get it before just ripping it off.
