What size and brand of tires you running? Just purchased the XD Crank wheels and I am about to put some Toyo Open Country A/T size 285/65R18 on them. Debating if I should go even bigger to the 325/60R18. Toyo says there 33's but almost 13" in width. I will have a 2" leveling kit installed.

They are 305/55/20, so that measures out to 33.4" x 12.6".

No spacers, I am pretty sure my back spacing is 4.5.

I do not have a lift or leveling kit at all... I did cut the air dam because it would rub in reverse with the wheels totaling turned all of the way.

Mine actually say 13" on the wheel but only measure to 12.6"

im pretty sure the backspacing on the cranks is 5 inch.

does anyone have a set of the new machined cranks. i saw these in a book the other day and have yet to see a pic of them on a jeep. i really like the look but wished they had a 4.5 inch back space. i dont really wanna run spacers.

You are correct, 5" backspacing.
I don't see why spacers would be needed though....

I am going this route for my wifes jeep. She likes the simplicity of these wheels. Going to get a tire size close to 33" diameter (maybe 285/70/R17 or 275/70/R18 somewhere in that range) and will be putting on a cheap rough county 2.5" spacer lift.

Questions I have are:

What diameter should I go with (17 or 18)?
Why?
Are tires cheaper with one size over the other?
