Well was bored today so I got some black paint and filled in the Jeep letters on the center cap and I painted a line around each cutout.
Also gave it a shot of clear to seal it as suggested.
Still have to decide on color for the calipers.
Not the neatest job I know but hey, I'm not a pinstriper and besides, can't see it from a plane right!

Just a hint, you could buy some thin black pinstriping from an auto parts store and clean up the look abit. Use a hair dryer to heat the stripe up to make the curves. It'll give a more defined edge. Definately like the orange you put in there.

I agree, after I did it the more I look at it the less I like it.
So I'll be sanding that down and going with the orange.
Weights should be moving within a few days as I have to make time get to the tire shop for balancing.

Tragedy averted!
Was able to scrape off the black, sanded the whole thing to rough up the clear and all is back to Orange.
What was I thinking
Wasn't to hard to do and the paint matched up nicely.

You took my idea and executed it (almost) flawlessly! Which paint/color did you use?

Good thing we don't live near each other (;

Looks good.

It looks similar to what Sunburst-Kid did
