Do you no longer have a 3rd brake light with this new bumper/carrier?

That is correct. They do offer a 3rd brake light kit but it mounts in the center of the spare wheel. Even so, since this tire carrier swings away from the tailgate, having the wire routed from the current location wouldn't work. The wire would need to meet the tire carrier bracket near the pivot point.

Any ideas? I think I'll post this question in the electrical section and see what happens.
