Default Just Finished Stock Fender Chop

First off thanks to "TheonlyREDhead 2008 JK" and "Way of Life" for their write ups. Anyways, I just finished the fender chop and thought I would post up some pics

Its official thats my next mod. I was kind of unsure about doing it to mine because they are the colored sahara fenders. But after seeing yours, I am all for it. It looks awesome. Nice job man.

i saw someone on here put some door triming or something to finish up the edges before, looked real good! maybe you can find the thread if you wanted to check it out. well done tho!

anyone know how much the door trimming is? I am gonna do this tomorrow. I hear it is 10 times easier to cut the fenders with tin snips rather than a dremal with a cut off wheel

It does have the door trim on, it's just real thin stuff, I didn't want to cover up too much color. I followed Reds write-up.

door trim or edging or whatever they call it is like $15. As for what tool I used, I used a JigSaw with a metal bit..... seriouslyl ripped through it really nice

How do they hold up? Are they flimsy now or are they still sturdy?

Looks great. I haven't seen many painted fenders chopped. Was it hard to keep the paint from chipping? What did you use to cut them?
